Christian Arrecis is an Illinois-based artist working primarily in photography and drawing and is the Exhibitions Coordinator at Side Street Studio Arts in Elgin, Illinois. He has participated in group and solo exhibitions including Side Street Studio Arts, Elgin, IL; greymatter gallery, Milwaukee, WI; Contemporary Art Center, Peoria, IL; Olin Gallery, Washington-Jefferson College, Washington, PA; and Peoria Art Guild, Peoria, IL.
His teaching experience includes Illinois Central College, Kishwaukee College, Northern Illinois University and Waubonsee Community College, as well as various workshops and after-school programming. He is also co-curator and co-founder of The Exhibition Project.
He earned his MFA in art from Northern Illinois University in 2008.
